Jana Foster is an emerging South African-born Australian author. She recently published her debut novel, The Uncontrolled Variables.​​​​

​​   With a background in medical research, Jana writes about what she knows best: the unpredictable, messy overlap of science and humanity.

​​   When she’s not writing, Jana is enjoys exploring far-off places, getting lost on hiking trails and reading  a bunch of books (you can see her current reads below).​

​   She’s still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she “grows up” but suspects storytelling will always be at the heart of it.​​
